Ah, there's nothing quite like listening to your beautiful bride in the next room swearing like a sailor with Tourette's while trying to navigate the Sweet Sweet galaxy.

Sausage-tastic

Last weekend, some friends and I got together for the first-annual Sausagefest. The wives were left at home, and the men got together for some beer, guitar hero, and sausage making. Dave already has a good writeup of the event with photos, so I'll point you there for detailed info.

Since then, I've consumed all three of the varieties that we made in:

• Deep-dish pizza with an italian sausage patty across the bottom
• Kielbasa on a pretzel roll
• Poached eggs in salsa with chorizo and corn tortillas

Those meals tasted every bit as fantastic as you might think they would.
