Confused

An article about a new 'Coffee Shop' health program by an area hospital was posted this morning in the local paper. As the News Gazette eventually archives their online stories, I'll post some choice quotes (emphasis mine):

Local senior citizens are invited for free coffee, doughnuts...

...provide heart and lung assessments along with blood pressure readings, body-fat analysis, cholesterol and blood sugar screenings.

Are they just trying to drum up business with this program?
